Our group integrated by Novalan, S.A. de C.V. and San Ildefonso Fábrica de Tejidos de Lana, S.A. de C.V., are world widely recognized by the quality of their products, service and prestige.
More than 170 years in the Mexican and International wool and textile industry back-us up. Currently, we are proud to be placed as one of the biggest wool mills and one of the biggest producers of wool fabric in America.
San Ildefonso, is one of the 10 most antique companies in Mexico and the oldest textile factory in America. It was established in 1847 and was acquired by Mr. Juan Morera in 1977, originally producing wool fabrics and polyester/wool blends to satisfy the men’s suiting domestic market. Currently, it produces the finest worsted wool fabrics in America.
Novalan was founded in 1983 by the Morera Family with a direction in sustainability, in its origins it focused on the production of 100% woolen spun fabrics from reprocessed and recycled materials. Later on, the business evolved expanding its production to worsted and woolen products.
Thanks to new investments, a strong leadership, and to the work of highly committed personnel with producing with the highest quality and under international standards, the company expanded into new products: wool coats, flannels, casual and sport jackets, fine summer fabrics, besides blends with cashmere and silk, among others.
Novalan produces as well, technical fabrics, billiard cloth, indoor and outdoor upholstery and a great variety of yarns.
Our production facilities surpasses one million square feet.
We have plentiful experience and are always making efforts to improve and achieve higher levels of quality in the whole production cycle, from raw materials to finished fabrics.
San Ildefonso and Novalan, are vertically integrated companies, which allows us to keep complete control of the whole manufacturing process, being highly flexible and adapt quickly to the market´s needs.
